Aveng Grinaker-LTA and joint venture partners Moseme Road Construction and Boitshoko Road Surfacing and Civil Works (both BEE construction companies), are carrying out two contracts as part of the overall Gauteng Freeway upgrades spanning a distance of 38,6km. The projects consist of roadworks adding extra lanes, upgrading intersections and building new bridges to improve traffic flow in both sections. A total of eight new bridges were built. Infraset also supplied 3 600m² of façade panels and close to 30 000m of barriers to various works packages.
